Pão fresquinho pelo Twitter!

Poke built a twitter system that allows bakers to twitter what’s coming fresh out of their ovens and communicate with their customers in real time. 

The setup uses arduino technology to enable tweets via a dial and button system, instead of by mobile phone or laptop. The bakery-proof box sends messages wirelessly to all the bakery’s Twitter followers. The baker can program what items are on offer beforehand via a Web interface, so that when the items come out of the oven, he or she only has to turn a dial and push a button to alert Twitter followers. 

Poke installed the first Baker Tweet system in Albion Cafe, a bakery in Shoreditch London.
